Applications Now Being Accepted! DUE MARCH 1, 2018!

The 2018 Author Workshop will take place June 4 – June 15 in Morgantown, WV, on the campus of West Virginia University. The goal of the 2018 workshop is to help authors nearing their final stages of completion on a project—”from prototype to published,” so to speak. This workshop will help you to revise or complete/publish your project, consider your archival and preservation strategies, and promote the value of your digital humanities project. Applications are accepted for any type of humanistic or humanistically oriented social science-based digital project that will be nearing completion in 2018–19.

To apply: Please submit a document (no more than 2–3 single-spaced pages) outlining the current state and description of your digital project (with URL, if applicable), a potential publication venue, a brief vision for what you want to accomplish at the institute, any obstacles you perceive for completion, and a proposed work plan. Also, please submit a 2-page CV. Your proposal should be emailed to Demi Fuentes-Ramirez at
Deadline for proposals is March 1, 2018. Selected applicants will be notified by April 1.
